If you’re looking for a holiday club for 4 year olds, you’re in the right place! At GO GO Makers we pride ourselves in providing a personalised experience for each child in our care. For our youngest guests, that’s even more important! That’s why we’ve created a tailored approach to help 4 and 5 year olds get the most out of each of our holiday clubs, across all of our venues.
Our philosophy is simple – we focus on what young children need at holiday camp, the essentials such as staff skills and ratios and build on that to create a fun and nurturing experience. So what does this look like in practice? We’ve outlined the key provision below.
Children must have started Reception at school before being able to attend GO GO Makers. If you are in any doubt, please contact us.

We appreciate that families are busy. Our standard day is from 9am to 3.30pm, so we offer the flexibility of extended hours from 8am drop off to 5.30pm collection.

Our skilled dance coaches help nurture budding superstars with movement and music, designed to get your little one’s hands and feet moving!
GO GO Minis will also be able to take part in our amazing sensory sessions.
We make science and engineering fun with our Einstein activities – small concepts can make a lasting impression when delivered with care and passion.
All STEM activities are tailored for our 4 year old Minis.
We get our little ones active with exciting games and activities, focusing on taking part and having fun.
We also improve our gross motor skills and learn to play together.
Arts and Crafts that will make their hearts sing!
We love getting messy with paint, working those finger muscles and exploring textures to offer a multisensory creative approach.

GO GO Minis Camps run a 1:8 ratio for our younger guests, offering you the peace of mind that we have every event covered.
Each camp offers a unique, fun-packed experience with a special theme at Easter, Summer and Christmas and our half term holiday clubs offer a great way to keep young minds engaged.
Our friendly team will greet you at our check-in desk with a warm welcome to help children settle quickly and gauge their interests ahead of the day. We help reassure anxious or worried children to enable them to enjoy the day from the very start. By home time many children don’t want to leave – we take that as a compliment!
We know that our younger guests need time to explore the world around them, so we allow ‘free play time’ to help their creativity and social skills.
During each holiday camp, we ensure our 4 and 5 year olds get time to unwind. Our team love to get involved in all of the activities, and while guided holiday camp sessions offer an important part of our provision, the ‘space’ that free play time creates for reception aged children is golden.
Our holiday camps run in Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth and Coventry, so you can choose a location to suit your needs.
Our unique approach to working with 4 and 5 year old children as they start school, is tried and tested. If there’s anything the pandemic has taught us, it’s that social skills are vitally important for toddlers and young children. The social distancing that was once imposed to preserve life and prevent the spread of Covid 19 has caused a wave of unease with our younger generations.
Ofsted’s December 2022 report stated that the pandemic has had a negative impact on children’s personal, social and emotional development, with some children’s social skills less advanced than they otherwise might have been.
We strongly believe that holiday camps offer an important opportunity to help younger children build a confident approach to socialising with peers. Our staff offer enough space for them to learn to interact, and encourage them to take part wherever needed.
Children aged 4-5 years can find transitioning more of a challenge. We reduce the amount of activities for our younger guests to allow them time to complete tasks, and minimise disruption. When moving from one activity to another we allow time for the children to adjust.
Holiday camps for 4 year olds and 5 year olds An insight into your child’s day is the best part! We make sure that we offer a detailed update including activities they took part in, share their creative makes, and let you know how much they ate at lunch time. We operate a nut-free club too, for peace of mind.
This is the GO GO Makers way! From the moment you reach the door, we’ll be on hand to help your child settle in, learn of any needs, and listen to any updates. We remind ourselves that it’s a privilege to care for younger children, and it’s a responsibility we take very seriously – but we do love making silly faces too!
GO GO Makers are part of the Government’s Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) which is coordinated by Warwickshire Council.
Families can access GO GO Minis through the HAF scheme to enable children to access fun activities and healthy food during school holidays (excluding half terms) regardless of household income. The HAF programme is available for families who receive benefits-related free school meals, as a vital way to support children in the local area. Find out more.
We are proud to have achieved the highest rating ‘Met’ in recent inspections, for quality and high standards of early years provision. This extends right across our age groups to ensure we keep pushing beyond what is ‘expected’ and deliver outstanding care. As a people first organisation, a lot of what we achieve is thanks to our highly trained and experienced staff, who are passionate about childcare.
