February Half Term Activities 2024

February Half Term Club 2024

Let winter melt away and welcome the spring with our ACTION PACKED holiday camp this February Half Term!

We’ve overhauled our holiday camps! We now offer a Junior and Senior programme, to further tailor activities and skills to each age group.

Junior – 4-7 year olds

Our Junior GO GO Makers will take part in treasure hunts, arts and crafts, dance workshops and STEAM activities. They’ll also get outside for some sports and archery. Please note, we tailor activities to each venue so they may vary depending on facilities.

Senior – 8-12 year olds

Our Senior GO GO Makers gain the benefit of all of the Junior activities PLUS an exciting array of more skilled sports and games, to keep them engaged and challenged. We offer team-based games such as laser tag, lacrosse, and frisbee golf. For the more creative, we’ll be doing some tie-dying and paper maché too!

We look forward to rolling out the proverbial red carpet to welcome you all to this exciting new format for our February half term holiday club. Did we mention… it’s going to be ACTION PACKED??

Allow us to expand…

This February will be ACTION PACKED

That’s right! We’re going all out with our half term activities to offer the most exciting week EVER! With our new Junior and Senior age grouping, we’ll be able to help children get the most out of each activity.

Younger children can benefit from activities that build gross motor skills and help them develop social skills. These are essential for developing healthy self-esteem and confidence as they move through primary school. We also run dance workshops, with styles such as street dance and cheerleading, and musical theatre sessions for those who LOVE to be on stage. Our STEAM sessions are also hugely popular, and keep minds engaged during the holidays. These involve experiments into science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics tasks to hone their problem solving skills.

For our older guests, we’ll have the exciting challenge of more fast-paced games like laser tag – it’s non-contact, but that doesn’t stop it from getting pretty competitive! Dodgeball offers a true team-work mentality too. We’ll be working together to score and make sure we have fun along the way.

We will be running our increasingly popular fencing sessions, which are run in partnership with British Fencing and Forging Futures. You can be sure of high quality coaching and a truly wonderful opportunity to try out this challenging sport. This is a great way to build self-confidence and improve hand-eye coordination, and can bring out some surprisingly adept skills. February can be a challenging time for weather, but we’ll make sure we get everyone nice and warm with our sporting sessions!

We love making each day at each camp special. So how does it work?

1 – Choose a Venue

First of all, you choose the venue that suits you and your family best. We offer our february half term activities at venues across Coventry and Warwickshire, working in partnership with some lovely primary school venues. We’re proud to offer you the security of a safe environment for your children during the holidays, and peace of mind that goes with a child-centred activity programme.

This half term, we’re also opening up two exciting new venues, with a special introductory price to welcome you to the GO GO Makers Club!

2 – Choose an Option

We have our standard day of 9am to 3.30pm at £27.95, and additional breakfast and extended day options to help you out during the holidays.

Choose from the below options, with a special introductory offer coming soon for our 2 new locations! All you need to do is book securely via our online system, where you can select the days and locations of your choice.

Book early to avoid disappointment!

3 – Relax – you’re sorted!

Well, almost! All we ask is that children arrive at camp with a healthy packed lunch (no nuts please), and in clothing suitable for an active day. That means comfy clothes and trainers if possible, and a coat for outdoor activities. Please note, we are a nut-free club. Our staff are all trained in children’s first aid, and can administer an EpiPen if required.

If you’re eligible for the HAF Programme, we can help you there too – but half term sessions are not included in the programme, so be sure to check back for our Easter and Summer camps.

Half Term is a break for kids – and should be for you too.

There’s no need to juggle work or life-commitments with childcare. We take some of the load, by making sure your kids get a well earned break and allow you the time to do your thing.

Children benefit from a change of scenery as much as adults too, although they can get a little nervous. Our experienced team at GO GO Makers make sure each child and young person settles in quickly and has the best possible chance of making new friends. They’ll come away feeling bright and fulfilled, and may even share some of their new creations with you!
