Holiday Childcare Provision for Schools

As a school we imagine you are always looking for ways to support your community and enhance the quality of your educational setting. One way this can be achieved is through holiday childcare schemes, and GO GO Makers are proud to be part of the extended care provision for many schools in the Midlands.

We work in partnership with schools in Warwickshire and the West Midlands to provide holiday care that supports schools financially and benefits the wider community. Our holiday clubs are Ofsted Regulated and we fully comply with Safeguarding guidance (KCSIE) with particular emphasis on Keeping Children Safe in Out of School Settings.

Crucially, you can generate regular and reliable income for your school and connect with your wider community.

Why partner with GO GO Makers?

We take care of everything – from managing bookings to providing highly trained and vetted staff. We’re also passionate about planning varied and enriching activities that really do benefit the children, and give them a FUN experience.

Because we hire space from your school, you can earn regular income to boost resources, and showcase your school to parents and carers who might not otherwise visit to help improve your profile locally. The income you can generate could help pay for additional resources such as new equipment, school trips or learning assistants! We can also support by being an activity provider at your school events such as summer and xmas fayres, and donate raffle prizes to help you raise much needed funds.

Our holiday club sessions can be offered on a regular basis out of term time, which can increase your school’s profile locally and amplify the positive impact you can have. We have a rigorous ofsted approved safeguarding approach, with policies and procedures to ensure every aspect is covered.

There’s also a little bit of magic in working together, where we can open up opportunities for children from different schools in the area to meet, play and create genuine inter-school friendships.

Your school could benefit through:

  • Regular Income

  • High Quality Ofsted Regulated Childcare

  • Pastoral Support

  • Loved by Parents

  • HAF Programme Members

  • Event Activities

Help children to thrive during school holidays

As a school you’ll want to provide as much access to new experiences as possible, but this can be a balancing act as budgets tighten. We also know from research (1) that children from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to take part in out of school activities. We are members of the HAF programme in Warwickshire and Coventry in order to make our holiday activities accessible to all. By providing holiday clubs in your school, we can help those children gain valuable life-experiences without singling them out. With increasing demands on parents’ finances too, a cost-effective childcare solution in a familiar place can make all the difference for some families.

What does our Holiday Childcare Provision look like?

We’re passionate about offering activities that help children to learn, grow and have FUN! Our holiday childcare provision is delivered via our exciting programme of Holiday Camps, each of which is themed to make them accessible and exciting for children. Activities are then tailored for the age-range, and designed to encourage children to work together which can result in some wonderful friendships outside of the usual classroom setting.

Children can mix between age groups which benefits their pastoral wellbeing, and our multi-activity approach means we are always looking for ways to widen children’s experiences through physical activities, problem solving or creative fine-motor skills.

We can offer the following benefits to your educational setting:

  • Sports
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Archery
  • Fencing
  • STEAM activities
  • Performing Arts (Dance, Theatre, Music)
  • Skilled Activities – such as Lacrosse, Dodgeball and Tie-dye

The above activities can be offered as part of a regular holiday club programme, tailored to your setting. Our staff are fully trained in paediatric first aid and specialist skills such as fencing or archery as required.
