GO GO Makers was established by Emma Canning in 2013, to create an exciting new option for holiday care and activities for children. Over ten years on, we have become a trusted choice for so many families.
“As a Mum of 3 fantastic, active and inquisitive children I was inspired to create GO GO Makers. I understand the challenges that families face, and the necessity of high quality family support. Our mission is “Inspiring young minds to think BIG!” and we strive to be the best place to come to for a safe, memorable and caring childcare environment.”
GO GO Makers are the Award-winning, Ofsted-approved Holiday Camps in Warwickshire and the West Midlands, inspiring young minds to think BIG. Our unique and diverse timetable of exciting activities all under one roof, which really sets GO GO Makers apart from other providers.
Emma explains more about her approach:
“It’s all about our family-led approach. I understand that you need to ensure your children are in the best hands. We strive to offer the best childcare experience through a FUN activity programme and celebrate with rewards and recognition.
Our approach means new friendships will blossom, with endless opportunities to play and learn together - we always keep things fresh! I created GO GO Makers around what I would want for my children - that means I want the very best for your children too.
The GO GO Makers team and I are constantly evolving and learning, we regularly reflect and make positive changes whenever we think that we can improve. Just like a traditional family, we look out for each other and every children in our care. So far this approach has earned us outstanding feedback from achieving the highest level of ‘Met’ for care provision.”

We’ve got this! From the moment you meet the GO GO Makers Team, you’ll know your child will be safe and happy in our care and you can go about your day with confidence. We consider all aspects of childcare including healthy eating, exercise, mental health and general wellbeing.
Our dedication to high standards of safeguarding and health and safety extend further than diet and exercise – we support healthy lunchbox choices and encourage discussions around lifestyle to help children make positive choices. As part of this, we are proud to offer HAF programme places for families, to ensure everyone has a chance to try new things.

If your child has additional needs of any kind, please speak to us before booking so that we can discuss this with you. Where possible we will make adjustments to help them get the most out of their time with us, or advise as required. GO GO Makers will also consider trial sessions.

Parents love the breakdown they are given of their child’s day – it’s important to us share each child’s enjoyment, which is the heart of everything we do.

We work hard to ensure we bring the right people into our GO GO Makers family, and that care resonates out to each one of our team.
All staff have an enhanced DBS and will hold the necessary/relevant qualifications required for their role. With this they bring commendable experience of working with children and must have what it takes to “Inspire young children to think BIG!
GO GO Makers is passionate about providing regular training for staff as well as supporting them in their roles. We give staff the opportunity to further their career with us.

A lot of our Team work with children during the term time, then work with us during Half Terms and Holidays, in our fun and educational environment. They love to work with children.
We have a thorough “Safe Recruitment” process, staff have regular and ongoing training, Enhanced DBS checks and staff meeting days. Each Camp had Paediatric First Aiders at and a selection of Basic First Aiders too.
